Reasons why teams choose to play in NJB Tournaments

• MORE GAMES - All teams will play 3-6 games during all events.  The only way your team will not receive at least 4 games is because your club went winless during your first 3 games.  Otherwise-your team will play in the championship bracket or for a game that means something.
  
  NO OTHER TOURNAMENT WILL OFFER MORE GAMES THEN NJB!
   
• STOP CLOCK - All contests will be a regulation stop clock game with 8 minutes per 4 periods.  Just like a High School game.  We do not cheat the players and teams.
  
  NO RUNNING CLOCK!!!
   
• CIF/COLLEGE REFEREES - NJB referees are highly trained with proper evaluations and ratings. Our men and women referees will hustle, and work the court during all games. We have a method for coaches to critique the referees during all events. Your input is important. Our referees come from all over the state of California. They will not work more than 3-4 games in a row. They are fresh and ready to work all contests.
  
  NJB WILL PROVIDE 3 REFEREES FOR ALL FINALS
   
• 1ST CLASS VENUES - NJB will play the majority of games at High School and College Gymnasiums.  NJB will play some tournaments at the American Sports Center in the city of Anaheim.  This is noted as one of the top venues in Southern California.  This venus is the home of NJB.  Your team will enjoy the facility and you can count on games on time when you play in a NJB event.
  
  NJB WILL PROVIDE EXCELLENT VENUES
   
• GAME MANAGEMENT - NJB will provide quality workers at the score table.  They will look professional and work with all teams.  A site director will assist with any questions during your stay at each venue.  NJB has tournament directors that will be available by cell phone to answer all questions during the event.  NJB goes the extra yard to provide excellent service for our teams.
  
  QUALITY SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TO NJB
   
• BEAUTIFUL AWARDS - NJB provides top notch awards/trophies for players and teams.  In most divisions-awards will be given to all players who finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  This summer we will be giving Summer Tournament Tee Shirts to Teams when they win their first tournament of the year. Teams will receive a team plaque for 4th, and 5th place finishes.  The kids deserve the recognition and they will leave the tournament with a smile on their face.
  
  INDIVIDUAL AWARDS AND NOT A TEAM PLAQUE
   
• TEAM CERTIFICATION - NJB will certify all players and teams for tournaments.  It is easy... and this will assure that your club is playing against legal players.  Teams may qualify players by grade report card or birth certificate.  All teams must place rosters online and present a picture to the game referees prior to each game.  This is what the coaches and parents want.  NJB will certify all players.
  
  NO CHEATERS ALLOWED AT NJB TOURNAMENTS
   
• ONLINE SCHEDULES & SCORE - NJB will have schedules available online for teams on Wednesday or sooner for weekend events.  NO more last minute changes and waiting for your times and locations.  We operate our events like no other groups.  We are organized and high tech for customers.  All scores and standings will be posted at the site and online for players and teams to view.
  
  YOU RECEIVE YOUR SCHEDULE EARLY FOR TOURNAMENTS
   
• TEAM DISCOUNTS - Your team will play for free after you pay and play in 4 NJB tournaments in 2008.  (You cannot use your free tournament play on the San Diego Championship Finals)  All scores and standings will be posted at the site and online for players and teams to view.
  
  PLAY IN 4 NJB TOURNAMENTS AND THE 5TH IS FREE.
   
• TEAM RANKINGS - NJB will produce team ranking after all tournaments.  Check it out on our website!  You want a good ranking for the Summer Finals in San Diego.  NJB will publish the team rankings on the SoCal Hoops.  The team rankings will be updated and refresh with excitement.  This is how we seed our tournaments.

• SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD - NJB will present the Team Sportsmanship Award to the club with the best sportsmanship during the tournament.  The directors and referees will vote for the special team.  A team picture may be placed on the NJB website for recognition.
  
  GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP COMES FIRST AT NJB
   
• HOSPITALITY ROOM - NJB will host a hospitality room for all coaches, referees, and dignitaries at the ASC (Anaheim) during all events.  Please join us and relax and have some food and drinks as you prepare for your contests during the tournament.
